ELLENORE SCOTT (she/her) is a choreographer, director and content creator living in New York City. Upcoming productions include Empire Records at McCarter Theatre in Princeston, NJ and Ragtime at Encore! New York City Center. Broadway: Grey House (directed by Joe Mantello), Funny Girl (directed by Michael Mayer) and Mr. Saturday Night (directed by John Rando), Billy Crystal’s return to Broadway which received 5 Tony nominations including Best Musical. Scott choreographed the Off-Broadway productions of Little Shop of Horrors (directed by Michael Mayer), I Can Get It For You Wholesale (directed by Trip Cullman) at Classic Stage Company and Titanique (directed by Tye Blue), for which she received at Lucille Lortel Nomination for Outstanding Choreographer. She co-directed The Lonely Few at both the Geffen Theatre in Los Angeles as well as the New York premier of the show at MCC Theatre. She choreographed Kate Hamill's Off-Broadway’s production of Pride and Prejudice (Cherry Lane Theater) and Jeremy O. Harris' Black Exhibition (The Bushwick Starr). Scott’s choreographic work has been seen at Cape Fear Regional Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, The Old Globe and the McCarter Theatre.

Scott has choreographed twice for hit television series, So You Think You Can Dance, Season 17, choreographed Tony performance numbers for both Funny Girl and Mr. Saturday Night as well as created the Opening Number for the 2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade featuring Lea Michele and the cast of Funny Girl which was watched by over 27.7 million people.

Scott has served as the associate choreographer for Head Over Heels (directed by Michael Mayer) and King Kong (directed by Drew McOnie) on Broadway, and was the assistant choreographer for the Broadway revivals of Cats (directed by Andy Blankenbuehler) and Falsettos (directed by James Lapine).

Artistic Director of ELSCO Dance, Scott created a New York contemporary dance company that combined her love of commercial and concert dance. ELSCO has performed throughout the Tri-State area, Boston, Los Angeles and continues to strive to make dance accessible for everyone, including creating pieces specifically made to be viewed online for free. Scott teaches as guest faculty for all the major dance education studios including Broadway Dance Center, Steps on Broadway, Peridance and The Ailey School.

As a Movement Director, Scott has choreographed/movement directed commercials for Marc Fisher Footwear, AVON, Chase Bank, Oofos, and Global Girls. During the pandemic, Scott choreographed the first ever TikTok Musical called Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical directed by Lucy Moss, which raised of $2 million dollars for The Actors Fund. As a performer she was a finalist and an All-Star on the hit television show “So You Think You Can Dance.” She performed on numerous television shows (“Glee,” “Smash,” “The Ellen Show,” “The Blacklist,” “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” to name a few) and danced with Janet Jackson. Scott is also a content creator, with over 1 million followers on TikTok under the name @HelloEllenore.
